Haven’t bothered to watch. And matching a girl against a male calling itself a woman violates any idea of sportsmanship

Expand full comment

That literally didnt happen you are just paranoid. The woman people keep accusing of being trans is just a normal woman stop spreading lies

So you're basically saying that you don't find it strange that the IBA results haven't been released, and therefore, there is no evidence that she is a biological female?

Expand full comment

Transvestigating is a disease. No one should be this concerned about “biological evidence” when she has been competing as normal for years you’re completely delusional at what point do you stop wondering what cis person is secretly trans?? This is completely insane behavior seek help seriously.

Why don’t you go seek help for yourself. I can’t believe you’re fine with a man punching a woman in a boxing ring. “She” tested positive for XY chromosomes…”she’s” a man…or used to be. I bet you also get hard when you look at Lia, another man who decided he was a woman after not be able to compete with men. You’re the disgusting one who needs help!

Agree with you completely. Athletes not celebrated, nor a host country's beauty, pride in citizenship, or achievements. It was a showcase of evil. Not watching the Olympics this year after looking forward to it again.

Expand full comment

A showcase of evil? The satanic panic is back i guess. A 3 year old wouldnt cry this much for an opening ceremony. Covid long term side effects showing themselves i think this is concerning

Evil's been around since before COVID. It's up to us to stop giving it a grandstand; starting with the producer, ending with the audience.

People aren’t good or evil thats the way children view the world. People are who they are as a consequence of the world around them. And something along the way led you all to look for reasons to hate people and when you dont find it you make it up to justify your hateful beliefs. Its sad.

You should read my article about accountability and responsibility, and how our society is going downhill because of views like yours.

https://themodernworld.com/p/the-disappearing-act-of-taking-responsibility

Expand full comment

People like you perpetuate this idea that pretty crime is a consequence of “evil” to avoid taking accountability for the material conditions that led to someone committing that crime. So while you may look at a folklore book from the stone age for the root cause of our issues I am looking at the socio-economic and material conditions that led to it. But sure I am the one that needs to read that lmfao what a flawed argument

Expand full comment

Lmfao claiming that bad actions are a consequence of “evil” and not the material world around them that created that event is literally the opposite of taking accountability and responsibility of the issue at hand. You cant say theres and problem and its because theres “evil”. This isnt the medival ages, do you really thinking babies are born evil? Thats not taking responsibility or accountability for anyone who did bad things as a consequence of the life they had to live.

I said the same thing WTF , and I am a supporter of lgbtq+ .. but what did it have to do with the Olympics and why were there children up by men with their junk hanging out. They should have celebrated the athletes, not bring an orgy. Gross

This was in one fell swoop an insult to Christianity, an attack on Western Civilization and an embarrassment to the tone deaf rubes on the Olympic Committee. I feel sorry for the athletes themselves. But it was so inclusive that half the potential viewers tuned out.

Totally agree. I’m not sure why the Olympics does this - how is any of this about our amazing athletes? Check out the London hospital scene and how they showed the demons chasing the children— and the 1992 Barcelona opening with the spiked ball covered in silver (dead) or terrified bodies all intertwined. This was all very dark and disturbing- not the uplifting entertainment that I would want my kids to watch.

I think you need medication, seeing “satanic symbolism” everywhere sounds like a symptom of schizophrenia you should seek help from a real doctor. This is embarassing i cant wrap my head around a fully grown person writing and publishing such made up nonsense… been a long time since ive seen something this idiotic, seriously. Its not too late to delete

I understand the author couldn't go into a full analysis of other Olympic openings, but the British 2012 Olympic opening was a complete tacky train wreck.

I don't know anyone that found it tasteful.

No one is pretending to be a victim, no one is crying, and no one is attacking you. However, that's exactly what you're doing with your responses to the comments on this thread. The comments are about the ceremony, yet your responses are attacking people who have a different opinion from yours.

This article presents an opinion based on the ethical foundations of a large majority of people who felt insulted by the ceremony. It's as simple as that.

Expand full comment

No this article is lying about a cis woman. Presenting your HATEFUL views as “different opinion from [mine]” is so twisted. Do we act like racism is just a difference in opinion?? You’re being transphobic when there arent even any trans people around. As for not crying hahahahah you and every other conservative grifter jumped on this lie to convert views into $. Clearly none of you actually care about womens sports its just an excuse to spread hateful views and disguise them as “different opinions” like it changes the repugnant content of what you’re saying.

I wouldn't expect a different (unsupported) comment from someone who follows Planet Nude, Zaftig Pink's Nudie Cutie Substack, and that ridiculous parody substack of God.

For you, the ceremony aligned perfectly with your values.

All you need to do is to accept that some of us have different values than yours, Ben. And that was exactly the point of the article, which you've just confirmed with your comment.

Where do these people come from? If they disagree so strongly, why do they follow you? So weird this modern obsession with following what is hated in order to attack at every turn. Seems it would be more productive to turn their energy towards joy. But hey, God is divine light and some choose the dark.

Heidi, this behavior is a form of sadism. These individuals derive pleasure from attempting to inflict pain on others, often through insults and belittlement. It's a disturbing manifestation of one of the many psychological afflictions prevalent in our society today. Their actions reveal not only a deep-seated unhappiness but also a certain moral decay, showcasing how negativity and malice have taken root in some people. This behavior is a reflection of their inner turmoil and dissatisfaction with life, which they project onto others in a toxic and harmful way.

In retrospect, it seems as though the opening ceremony was intended to lull us into complacency for what was to come. As though they expected us to be in such an uproar over the spectacle of the "feast" that we'd not notice the rest of the sham and gaslighting.
