Dr. Syrigos,

I enjoy the depth of conception of your articles. This one hits the nail on the head and in such elaborate a manner.

Vedas say that we are living in times, where only 25% truth prevails, where men are weak, women imitate men and both are selfish. They also state that it will be followed by satya yug, where 100 % truth will prevail and societies will have no army, no police and no locks, as everyone will be responsible.

What has happened to politicians? To doctors and to our spiritual (not religious) leaders? Just look around and we'll recognize that Vedas speak the truth.

One thing puzzles me. Yogic wisdom says whoever or whatever created the universe also created us and dwells within the confines of our bodies. And goes on to describe step by step procedures to awaken the whatever within us. I know this to be true.

The link to my paper "Evolution of the Human Brain-mind Complex" speaking to this insight is:

I will be interested in your comments, particularly, the section on mind sciences.

Thank you for your indulgence.

Thank you for your thought-provoking comment! The parallels between ancient teachings and modern societal structures are fascinating, and I agree that the depth of yogic wisdom offers profound insights into human consciousness and self-realization.

Your reference to the Vedas and the cyclical nature of truth in society is particularly compelling. It’s intriguing to consider how we navigate this era and what role we play in shaping the transition toward a more enlightened state. The idea that true responsibility and harmony could lead to a world without the need for enforcement structures is a vision worth striving toward. However, the direction of the world is taking at the moment is quite the opposite..

I also agree with your point about the divine presence within us and the structured approach to awaken that truth. The connection between the evolution of the human brain-mind complex and ancient wisdom is an area I’m deeply interested in, and I look forward to reading your paper, especially the section on mind sciences that you suggest.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts and I appreciate the opportunity to engage in this discussion!
